The manufacturing process of iron laminations requires a combination of material characteristics and application scenarios, utilizing multiple procedures to achieve precise control over structure and performance.

Raw Material Selection
Raw material selection serves as the foundation. Materials must be screened based on indicators such as permeability and loss characteristics. Common types include silicon steel sheets and

amorphous alloys. Once materials enter the production phase, they are first processed into preset dimensions via cutting. The cutting method must balance precision and efficiency to avoid concentrating internal stress, which could adversely affect magnetic properties.

Forming Stage
The cut blanks then proceed to the forming stage, where lamination stacking and integral casting are the two mainstream processes.
  • Lamination Stacking: This process involves stacking multiple thin sheets in a staggered arrangement, utilizing insulating co

  • atings to isolate interlayer currents and reduce eddy current losses. It is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for loss control.

  • Integral Casting: This method uses molds to shape molten material in a single step, making it ideal for products with complex structures and strong integration needs.

During the forming process, temperature and pressure parameters must be strictly controlled to ensure uniform internal material structure and prevent defects such as porosity and cracks.

Post-Processing and Inspection
Subsequent processing steps are equally critical to the performance of iron laminations.
  • Annealing: This process eliminates machining stress, optimizes thematerial's magnetic domain structure, and improves magnetic permeability efficiency.

  • Surface Insulation Treatment: This enhances inter-sheet insulation performance by spraying or dipping insulating materials, further suppressing eddy current losses.

At the finished product stage, multidimensional inspections—including magnetic performance testing and visual inspection—are conducted to ensure compliance with application standards. The entire manufacturing workflow requires precise coordination between processes to balance production efficiency with product performance, meeting the diverse needs of various fields for iron laminations.
