Oil leakage can manifest in various ways, so our handling methods should vary according to the specific situation. The fuel injector is a precision component. If the machine uses unclean diesel or has been in service for a long time, fuel return (overflow) can occur due to injector wear.

However, since replacing the injector is expensive and uneconomical, to prevent fuel from being lost through the return line, you can guide the oil back to the fuel tank or into the diesel filter via the return pipe. If the return pipe is damaged, a piece of plastic tubing can be used to divert the oil into a spare container; after filtering, it can be poured back into the tank.

Secondly, for oil leaks in the fuel delivery system, appropriate measures can be taken based on the specific issue: If the washer on the hollow bolt of the fuel pipe is uneven, remove it, grind it flat, and reinstall it. If this doesn't solve the problem, replace it with a new washer, or cut a washer from a thicker piece of soft plastic material and install it instead.

Oil leaks at the connection between the plastic fuel pipe and the metal fitting are mostly caused by the plastic pipe hardening or cracking. You can cut off the hardened or cracked section, then soften the pipe with hot water. While it is still hot, fit it onto the metal connector and secure it tightly with metal wire. If a metal fuel pipe cracks and leaks, the cracked area can be repaired with copper brazing. Additionally, to prevent fuel pipes from cracking, ensure the bends are appropriate during installation. Do not force them into place, and keep the pipe body from contacting the machine body to avoid abrasion.

When installing the valve chamber cover, excessive tightening force can easily cause it to deform and leak oil. In this case, remove the leaking cover and carefully reshape it by gently tapping it with a wooden stick to restore a flat contact surface. Then, reinstall it with a new gasket. Different parts of the machine may have different oil leak issues, so be careful not to cause any damage to the equipment during the repair process.
