(1) Fully understand the drawings and quality requirements. Prepare all necessary documents and materials for the operation. Conduct a quality inspection of the laminations and remove any that are unqualified.
(2) The parallelism and diagonal error of the upper and lower clamps should be controlled within 1mm.
(3) Core stacking is generally done two laminations at a time, adding the center limb laminations in the order of "center, left, right," completing a cycle every three layers. Perform a self-inspection after finishing each step (level). If the thickness exceeds 15mm, reshaping should be carried out to meet the specified requirements.
(4) If the thickness of the core laminations is uneven, they should be distributed separately on the core limb of each step to prevent affecting the core limb. Sometimes three laminations can be stacked together, but care must be taken to allow for a proper margin (clearance).
(5) The top and bottom cover laminations of each step should be of better quality. When stacking the last three steps, temporary core clamping should be applied to facilitate the final clamping process.
(6) Pedestal blocks should be made of dried hardwood. If the dimensions are unsuitable, they can be trimmed to ensure a tight fit against the lower yoke end surface of the core.
(7) When clamping the core, start from the center and then proceed to both ends.
(8) The main body of the core should be cleaned with compressed air and then painted. However, note that the upper yoke must not be painted.
(9) Unpainted parts should be coated with anti-rust oil for protection.
(10) Handle laminations with care. Do not drop, bump, or step on them to avoid damaging the laminations.
(11) The corners (edges) of the stacked laminations should remain uniform and consistent.
(12) After the core laminations are stacked, tests must be conducted. Qualified cores should be marked with a "Qualified" tag, and unqualified ones with an "Unqualified" tag to prevent confusion.
